Maybe it's just me, but I could watch Will Ferrell movies all day

He bust onto the movie scene with A Night at the Roxbury,
titillating audiences with Saturday Night Live-born rhythmic head bobs.
What is love, indeed? Since then, America’s love affair with the wonder
known as Will Ferrell has blossomed, and for me, opened up a whole new
world of cinematic experience.
Remember how in that movie Old School there was that awesome
character Frank “The Tank” who pretty much made the movie with his
hilarious antics. Technically, he wasn’t the star, but try to envision
that boring plot without Ferrell’s alcohol-induced naked romp or fantastic
use of tranquilizer darts.
Boy, I could watch Will Ferrell movies all day long. And maybe it’s just
me, but judging by the bags of fan mail I’m sure he gets daily, millions
of people agree that Will Ferrell is one of the world’s great comedic
actors.
Did I say comedic actors? How about just great actor. Did you see
Stranger Than Fiction? Well, you probably did. After all, it grossed
something like $40 million at the box office, and I if my memory serves me
correctly, Will Ferrell was nominated for a Golden Globe for his whimsical
yet poignant portrayal of Harold Crick, a boring and predictable IRS agent
turned day-seizer through Ferrell’s subtle rendering.
But no matter how serious a dramatic actor, you can’t ignore Ferrell’s
perfected flair for comedy. “Good evening, San Diego. I’m Ron Burgundy.
Reports today suggest that Will Ferrell is the funniest man ever.”
Seriously, though, I could just sit in front of the TV for hours and hours
to watch classics (and classics because of Will Ferrell) like Elf,
Bewitched, Kicking & Screaming, Talladega Nights: The
Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Blades of Glory, and Semi-Pro.
But I also could not ignore my collage of award-winning caliber scenes
from other movies featuring the brash, envelope-pushing humor of Ferrell
like Zoolander, Starsky & Hutch, The Producers,
Wedding Crashers, and even the off-the-screen voice brilliance in
Curious George.
Bottom line, no person on this earth can make me laugh more often and more
intensely than the one, the only, the great Will Ferrell.
