CHICAGO—Network programmer Jim Schnieder seriously questions that you have a monitor anywhere near the size of his. A network security and solutions manager for Huron Consulting, the 48-year-old is almost certain you wouldn’t know what to do with such an impressively ample monitor even if you did have one so large.

You should not feel bad according to Schnieder, who questions whether you could even fathom so many pixels and guesses you would not have the first clue for how to utilize such a piece of technology. According to the large monitor aficionado, you would likely end up playing computer solitaire because you have no knowledge of World of Warcraft.

Schnieder would also like to remind you that his monitor reaches a screen resolution of 2880 by 1620 pixels and has 64 bit color capability while your inferior excuse for an interface likely tops out at 1024 by 768 pixels and 32 bit color, a laughable environment according to Schnieder.

“I bet you don’t even set your resolution that high,” scoffed Schnieder. “You probably still have it set on 800 by 600 pixels.”

Schnieder added that he would be happy to come over to your house to kick in your pathetic monitor, just to end its miserable existence.
