Five hours of DVD bonus features drunkenly explored

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Ted Michaels likely ended speculation early Sunday morning as to the contents of five hours of bonus features accompanying a Hot Fuzz DVD. After an evening of alcoholic consumption, the University of Illinois junior spent the early Sunday hours of 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. investigating cast interviews, behind-the-scenes narration, and hilarious outtakes at a high volume, according to roommate Dave Mathias. “I’ll have to ask him what all was on there,” said Mathias. Though he assumes Michaels made it through most of the bonus material, Mathias estimates his 21-year-old roommate, who apparently opted for director commentary over the 22 deleted scenes, fell asleep prior to finishing the final disc, a theory supported by the DVD’s looping menu music.
